Most websites lose customers in the same five places. Fix them and you reclaim more revenue than any redesign will ever produce.
1. The hero says what you do, not why anyone should care
If your hero would fit on any of your competitors' homepages, it's not earning its space. Specifics, proof and a real value claim — not category jargon.
2. There's no second CTA
Not every visitor is ready to book a call. Give the curious a soft second step: a teardown, a guide, a price list. Capture intent at every level.
3. Social proof is generic
Logos help. Quotes help more. Numbers help most. Replace 'great team' testimonials with the metric that moved.
4. The pricing page hides the price
If you can publish a starting number, publish it. Visitors who self-disqualify are doing your sales team a favour.
5. Mobile is a rounding error
Sixty percent of your traffic. Test every CTA, every form and every load time on a real phone with a real signal.
